Captain Ambrosius Bear

Ambrosius Bear is a character from a concept i've slowly been developing for some years now.  The captain of an exploring vessel on a mission to uncover unchartered waters he finds his strenght and wits constantly tested by the unknown.

This is our cat Sheeta who got struck by a car last march. She was badly hurt and eventually lost both of her eyes. It was a tough time, but she bounced back remarkably. She has retaken her reign as queen of the housecats and with her incredible hearing i've seen her kill flies and moths like nobody's business.

I got a job recently drawing some cartoons for Enprove, a company that does energy managing for other companies. The gags were already thought out, so i was there for visualizing. All went smoothly and i enjoyed working on it (thanks Filip!).

these all started as 20minute sketches at work with some added fiddling at home. The themes were beach, headhunters and minivan.

This one evolved from a quick sketch i made in march this year... i tend to overwork these a bit. :) I should have of gotten some reference for her pose and start over, but i didn't feel like it.

The lack of posts this year will be remedied in the following weeks. I'm working hard and there's not much time for idle doodling. But i have some stuff which may be worthwhile sharing, so you can expect some more things this month.
