heads

I was just trying out to paint a character using a colorpalette coming from a photo. It seems to be a good excercise. Getting those palettes in your head is very important. It had started by just trying to create an image from scratch, but I was doing it all wrong. More light on a matte surface means less saturation. I was doing it the other way around. The last image is that first try, then the reference-picture and then the more accomplished image. The piraty fellow is another try following the same principle but with a different startingcolor.
